Nicolò Gualandi

PhD supervisor: Prof. Remo Sanges, Computational Genomics Laboratory

Summary of career/studies:

I graduated at University of Bologna in Biological sciences working on a transcriptional regulator of H. pylori then I got my master’s degree in Functional Genomics at University of Trieste. During my master thesis I worked in the genetics and bioinformatics laboratory at the University of Trieste and I focused my attention on the genetic, functional and structural characterization of a family of mussel bioactive peptides.
I decided to join the Functional and Structural Genomics PhD program, in the fields of Bioinformatics, focusing my attention on the non-coding portion of the genomes.
