I graduated with a BSc degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Sheffield, UK. Then, I obtained a MSc degree in Neuroscience from the State University of New York at Buffalo, USA. My master's thesis was about exploring the role of SUMOylation during the peripheral nerve development.
I worked in academia as an assistant lecturer in neurophysiology at the Libyan International Medical University, Benghazi, Libya.
Currently, I am a PhD student in Functional and Structural Genomics at SISSA pursing my interest in exploring the brain’s biology in normal and pathological conditions.
