I obtained by bachelor's degree in Biological science at the University of Catania in 2021, as my supervisor the Professor Giampiero Leanza, and then I graduated at the excellence school Scuola Superiore di Catania in 2022. 

After I moved in Trieste for the master's degree in Neuroscience and I worked for the internship in SISSA, in the Falcone laboratory under the supervision of Professor Carmen Falcone. For my master thesis project, I had the possibility to characterize the morphology and the expression of three main-expressed proteins in astrocytes across different mammalian species. I was also interested in the involvement of astrocytes in the pathological condition and therefore I decided to enroll in the Functional and Structural Genomics PhD course, working in the Laboratory of Professor Legname.
