From 2018 is Associate Professor in Applied Biology and coordinator of the new Laboratory of Computational Genomics at SISSA.
He is the current Coordinator of the Ph.D. program.
Since December 2006, he has joined the faculty of the Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA), in Trieste, where he is currently managing a new Prion Biology Laboratory.
From 2006 is Associate Professor in Molecular Biology, starting the new Laboratory of Cerebral Cortex Development at SISSA.
From the end of 2022, she joined the Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA) in Trieste, where she opened the lab of Neurogenetics.
From 2022 she joined SISSA where she opened her lab focused on evolutionary neurobiology and glial cells.
